The Nash is one of the world’s great chamber music groups. The Ensemble combines the experience of outstanding, long-established players with the vitality of some of Britain’s best young instrumentalists. The breadth of its chamber music repertoire, from the classics to new music, in virtually any combination of instruments, allied to musicianship of the highest quality, is probably without equal.

The Friends’ website gives you access to detailed information about the Nash and its activities, including musicians’ biographies, concert and tour diaries, current recordings and reviews; and also about the Friends’ activities and the benefits of becoming a Friend.

The Friends are a vital element in the success of the Nash, providing funds that help Artistic Director Amelia Freedman and her team embark boldly and with confidence on future programming, planning and the commissioning of new works.

We have several categories of membership for Corporate and Individual Friends, each with its own range of benefits. Our aim is to include the Friends in the group’s activities with up to date news, receptions and informal gatherings based around Nash concerts, and opportunities to meet the players, which is a benefit available to all Friends.
